Austria-based Strip Plate GmbH, a pioneer in TPU coating applicator products, has announced a strategic collaboration with Moneda Technologies Group to market, sell, and distribute its innovative coating application solutions across Southern Asia and the Indian Subcontinent.

Strip Plate GmbH, formerly known as Nessmann GmbH, was founded by Heinz Nessmann in 1987 and was the first to develop TPU-based coating applicators. In 2015, the company was acquired by Mr. André Rabl, who relocated its operations to Austria. Under his leadership, Strip Plate has invested in state-of-the-art machinery, allowing for continuous innovation in the field of coating plates.

With the growing demand for Aqueous and UV coating solutions in the Southern Asian and Indian Subcontinent markets, Strip Plate GmbH sees a strong opportunity to introduce its technically advanced TPU-based coating applicator products to this high-growth region.

Strip Plate GmbH Partners with Moneda Technologies Group to Expand Presence in Southern Asia and Indian Subcontinent to establish a strong foothold in the region, Strip Plate GmbH has partnered with Moneda Technologies UG, Munich, and its independent subsidiaries across India and Singapore.

This collaboration will enable Strip Plate to leverage Moneda’s extensive market presence, technical expertise, and aggressive sales approach to cater to the rising demand in the packaging and printing industry.

Introducing Advanced TPU-Based Coating Applicator Products

As part of this partnership, Strip Plate GmbH and Moneda Technologies Group will introduce a range of premium TPU-based Coating Applicator Products designed to deliver superior performance and high production yield.

The portfolio includes:

1. Policoat: A coating applicator for Art Card, Coated Board, suitable for Aqueous Coating Application. It can sustain a 30% UV Short Run Application.

[ Available in 1.15 mm, 1.35 mm, 1.95 mm Thickness ].

2. Polarflex: Features a softer top surface ideal for Rough Board and Corrugated Boards. Also suitable for Aqueous Coating, with a 30-40% UV Short Run Application capability.

[ Available in 1.15 mm, 1.35 mm Thickness ]

3. UV Black Coat: A patented product with a specialized Black Surface designed for dedicated UV coatings, also suitable for aqueous applications.

[ Available in 1.15 mm, 1.35 mm Thickness ]

Each of the above products feature a specialized Ink Repellent Surface which allows for maximum machine speed and reduced cleaning intervals, thus enhancing productive yield. Additionally, each product includes a 2-ply base carrier film to prevent Thru-Cut during manual or plotter cutting, ensuring your investment remains intact.

All products are ISEGA and FOGRA approved, making them safe for direct food contact applications and are only manufactured in Austria.
